While we were at Plantpeddler Inc. - Young Plants we stopped in Decorah Iowa at Seed Savers Exchange! This is a cool organization started in 1975 that is all about saving seeds that have been handed down by generations and keeping them from going extinct. The gardens are beautiful with orchards and walking paths and the little store has a large variety of seeds for sale. Needless to say we stocked up!

We went to Plantpeddler Inc. - Young Plants in Cresco Iowa yesterday for their plant trial event. It’s always fun seeing real world trial gardens and how the big growers have fails as well as the rest of us. The flags you’ll see are how we rated them as our 1st, 2nd & 3 rd place favorites. Here’s some photos of the space (huge and highly innovative) and a few my favorite plants.
