I had a great time for tonight's Soup Crawl 2026 benefitting Second Harvest ECI working with my new team in our new space making a brand new recipe!🍫🥟

The team worked so well together and supported each other all day, I'm really proud of how we (trauma) bonded! 🤣💪

Chocolate soup dumplings with a salted caramel whipped cream is a fun bite and I'm strongly considering having this dish as a part of a regular offering!!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and chatted with us, encouraged us, and sounded excited about our upcoming grand opening!

And the biggest thank you to my team and my family for putting up with my chaotic scramble to bring my dream back to life

It's going accidentally shotgunning a Monster at 7:15am in a GFS parking lot because you shoved all your purchases in the trunk and forgot you left the can of energy right where the trunk latch fits when you slam it shut

Today is the start of and I want y'all to be aware that this bisexual needs an iced coffee really bad

So far, I've talked with electricians, plumbers, landlord, and contractors and I have a meeting tonight with graphic designers for packaging and I'm submitting my last application to the city for the business before next week's walk through with the health department

I'm ready to be open so that I can stop opening 🤣🤣🤣

Giving everything a pre-op check and clean before getting all the machinery and equipment moved over to the new shop!

Got my plumbing and electrical inspections completed and passed, just wrapping up some final general contractor tasks and then it'll be full send for painting, moving, installing, and test-running!

Then a final walk through with all the relevant agencies to get sign-offs and start building up inventory!

I feel the nerves of stage fright, like it's here and there's no turning back

Ready to go and ready to grow!

Yesterday was Muncie Pride and I want to paraphrase a friend of mine when he was talking about local music scenes:

Everyone thinks their local Pride is the best one and everyone is absolutely right!

Local Pride events, from the big cities to the small country towns, all of them are the very best!

The best people, the best art, the best community, the best of humanity is all to be found at Pride

I'm so proud and fortunate to be a part of a vibrant q***r community in Muncie, Indiana!

And yesterday, it all came together in a fabulous way that was as exhilarating and exhausting as it was rejuvenating!

So many people made the beautiful day possible, performers, behind-the-scenes folks, food, security, first responders, affirming clergy, vendors, and everyone who showed up!!
