A Big Welcome to Elaine and her granddaughter Charlotte for being new weavers at Forever Baskets. Weaving baskets together was a fun experience for them. The colors they chose were good and the baskets looked great! Enjoy your baskets!

Faye has woven numerous wonderful baskets at Forever Baskets. Her latest creation is a basket she wove for her Great Great granddaughter ( baby Guinevere was born August 11 ). Faye created the design on her basket and filled it with girly baby items. This basket will be cherished for many years to come! Nice work Faye!

One of Deb and her granddaughter Avery’s summer fun activity to do is weaving baskets together. This is their 2nd year to weave at Forever Baskets. The basket they chose was woven with a natural and a dyed reed together for each row. Avery’s smaller basket turned out really cute! Deb’s weaving on her larger basket created a unique shape. Awesome baskets!!

A warm Welcome to Krissy and her 3 daughters for being new weavers at Forever Baskets. Corinne, Brielle, Calla and their mom Krissy all wove very Nice baskets! They also enjoyed their weaving experience. Thanks for traveling over an hour to weave at my shop!

Another fun year of 4-H activities has come to a close! I entered my baskets in the Open Class division of the Delaware County 4-H fair for the 10th year. I enter my baskets to promote the art of basketry. We need to keep on weaving to preserve this old art form!

What a difference 10 years makes. My great nephew Tyler wove his first basket in 2016 when he was 6 years old. My shop was in Yorktown at that time. He has woven numerous baskets throughout the years.
Tyler just wove his latest basket before he starts his Jr year in school this year. Another great basket Tyler!

The exhibits at the Henry County 4-H fair were very nicely displayed. I was proud of the baskets that were woven at Forever Baskets. Congratulations to Aubrey for her basket being chosen to go to the State Fair! All the baskets were extremely nice! Congratulations to all!!

The basket guild that I belong to enjoyed weaving baskets at Lynn’s new barndominium home. Marjorie from Sweet Annie’s Basketry was our teacher. It was a fun day of weaving, fellowship and good food!

It has been a real pleasure to work with all the 4-H participants this year!! It is also exciting to see their baskets on display at the 4-H fair with all the ribbons they receive! At the Wayne County 4-H fair, Savannah’s basket was chosen to go to the State Fair. Congratulations Savannah!! Your basket was awesome!

Sarah wanted to weave another patriotic basket. This year she chose to make the basket into a lamp basket. She found an unique lamp shade to enhance her well woven basket. Looks so Cute!! Good Luck Sarah in the Henry County 4-H fair!
