Retail gallery at our homestead/studio, located at the east edge of the city of Munising
We create functional pottery for the home, and also feature a wide variety of other local artists’ works Owner artists are local potters who opened the gallery 10 years ago after totally renovating the building.

It is hard to believe that 2026 is our 20th season at Open Wings Gallery, but here we are!
We are currently open on Saturdays and Sundays 12-4.
Come and visit Munising’s hometown potters, and enjoy lots of other local artists’ creations, as well.

We are located just east of town, 2 1/2 miles east of the roundabout on H58. Look for our large organic garden near the road, and a yellow Open Wings Pottery & Gallery sign on the studio building.

We have excellent news for everyone coming into town this upcoming week!

Open Wings Pottery and Gallery, the makers of our awesome mug club mugs, is going to be open! They have sweet pottery along with many other handmade items at their shop and have the UP mugs available should anyone want to purchase a perfect souvenir to take home!

Their hours will be 11-4 on Friday and Saturday and if those hours don’t meet your needs, please send them a message to set up an appointment.

The town is excited for Michigan Ice Fest and Mother Nature is too! ❄️
