✨🍂 NOVEMBER CLASS ANNOUNCEMENTS 🍂✨

It's hard to believe, but November will soon be upon us! Cozy season, yay!

Here you will find the Class Calendar for November, so you can see the whole month at a glance.
Additionally, we have highlighted NEW classes coming in November. So exciting!

Anne Marcellis is back at it with two classes - she will be doing a fun, whimsical "swirling" table runner on Friday, November 6th (this technique will use her 9 degree ruler, which we have in-store!)
She will also be teaching a 2-part class making a beautiful tote bag utilizing Foundation Paper Piecing on Monday November 16th and November 23rd.

Sandra is back as well to teach a cute, fun Jelly Roll Snowman you can hang on your door! This class will be on Saturday, November 21st.
Additionally - she is open to teaching another Jelly Roll Flower Wreath class (this time will be a beautiful Poinsettia!) on Monday Nov. 30th... but we need people to sign up! If you are interested, PLEASE call the store to sign up! We need at least 4 people in order to schedule the class.

Finally, for Handwork Nights, Daphne will be teaching "Dirty Quilting" starting Thursday, Nov. 5th. PLEASE NOTE: The 4th class falls on Thursday, November 26th (Thanksgiving Day) so that class will be pushed out to Thursday, December 3rd.

SPOTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR ALL CLASSES (except Beginner Quilting) so if you are interested in taking any of these classes, the sooner you can sign up the better!

Sandra's Jelly Roll Handbag Class #2 is THIS MONDAY, Oct. 19th. In this class you will make a handbag with sewn strips half way to the bottom of the bag and the bottom will be a solid piece of fabric or “leather”. With 1 jelly roll/rolie polie you can make 2 bags (and maybe even key fobs too!)

Be sure to buy your jelly roll/rolie polie and any other class supplies you need from MidSouth so you can get your 15% class discount and to support your favorite local quilt & fabric store.

Featherweight Club is NEXT WEDNESDAY, Oct. 21st.
This is a fun time to get together with other featherweight enthusiasts where you can sew, learn, and laugh.

If you don't have a featherweight yet but want one, be sure to stop by the store to see the selection for sale that have been fully refurbished to perfect working order by our very own. Mr. Fred.

You can call the store to sign up for Featherweight Club or just show up. Just be sure to get on Kay's email list so she can keep in touch and keep you in the know about all the details for each month's activities.

Join Sabrina NEXT SATURDAY, Oct. 26th, if you interested in learning to design your own quilt patterns or have a tool that will help you layout your next quilt project digitally before you even make a stitch. She will be teaching Electric Quilt 8 (EQ8) Software which can help you do just that.

Sabrina is one of our friends that you may recognize from Sewciety. She brings some great projects she's made, such as a variety of bags and ornaments. She is also a quilt designer and is very knowledgeable of EQ8 software.

She is offering her knowledge and skills with this software for free in this monthly class. She loves the software and thinks you will too. It may seem intimidating to learn, but with her guidance, you will catch on in no time.

If you are excited to learn and use EQ8, then sign up for the class and get the software downloaded on your laptop before class day.

If you aren't sure if you want to purchase it yet, then sit in on a class to see what it can do. And if you decide you just gotta have it, then we will have it available for purchase. Then you can do hands on learning at the next class.

Call or stop by the store to sign up for the class as soon as possible so Sabrina knows you are coming.
