As 2025 comes to a close I am temporarily reopening the shop. I very seldom run a sale but, as I am planning to close the shop for the foreseeable future I am running an unprecedented 25% off sale. Get 25% off any order of $40 or more; free shipping still applies!

After 13 years and thousands of happy customers, the current state of world trade affairs has made it all but impossible to keep the shop open. Many of my suppliers have closed, costs have skyrocketed and I can no longer provide the high quality product at fair pricing, like I have for more than a decade. Shipping costs have almost doubled in the last 4 years alone.

I do, very much, hope to return with new products and the same great quality and customer service you’ve come to love, sometime in the future. I do not have a closing date currently scheduled but as stock begins to diminish I will announce a last call.

Get everything while it’s hot because items have already begun to sell out!

Dear Wonderful Customers,

I am writing to you from the land of snow and ice. Here in Southern Indiana we have gotten an unusually large amount of snow and ice. As you can imagine it is taking our community some time to dig out from under this.
I am taking a break from digging out our mailbox, which as you can see, is stuffed quite full with your packages. If our mail truck does not run again today I will venture forth into the tundra to see your goodies safely put into the hands of our postal department. Packages from Saturday 1/4-Tues 1/7 are in the holding pattern.
I have been unseasonably busy the last two weeks and I appreciate your business more than you can imagine. Thank you for your patience; I promise your goodies are worth the wait.

As my local customers are probably well aware, our town experienced a tornado a week ago today. This photo (taken by the City of Jeffersonville) is of my street; my house is not visible but it sits just below where these homes do.
While my family was very lucky, we did suffer damage to our home. We, and our neighbors, are all safe. Unfortunately we have damages to our office/studio space (among a myriad of other issues). Thankfully all of my materials, supplies and products are safe and sound.
All that being said I will have to pack the studio up completely at some point very soon in order to allow the repairs to begin. I do not have an ETA for the closure but I am expecting sometime in the next 2 weeks. I have no idea how long it will be for, so if you’re so inclined, shop now!

The things you don’t see when you purchase from a small business…The MANY MANY hours and dollars spent on prototype testing. These little bags here might look simple on the outside. What you don’t see are the multiple failed designs, testing and the hours (probably at least a weeks worth for this one product alone) spent making the absolute best product possible before I bring it to market.
So here’s a sneak peek of something that’s been requested for a while and something I am SO VERY excited to be bringing to you.

It took a little longer than planned but my virtual doors are open again after the holiday closure. There is a lot going on behind the scenes right now and you can look for some big changes in 2024.
New product lines being the biggest change! I am working hard patterning some new additions that I am very excited about.

There are lots of great vendors, artists and entertainers out today! The butterfly release happens at 6PM. From 12-8 you can visit the kids zone, play games, grab a cold drink, shop and of course visit the butterflies!

I will be set up at the Mount St Francis Monarch Festival in Floyd K***s this weekend. There will be a beer/wine tent, food vendors, live music and of course butterflies! Please come out and visit the artists and vendors that will be set up from 12-8PM Saturday!

I’ve been doing a lot of playing in the studio lately! I have multiple things in testing and I’m toying with the idea of branching out…this fun little lace up bodice can be interpreted into day to day outfits but also dressed up for a whimsical costume. This one was made entirely from thrifted cottons making it both stylish and ecoconcious.

I have close to a dozen prints that are getting very limited. One goal I have for the shop this year is to reduce the number of headband prints I am offering to under 100.
