A Look at the Progress on the New Veterans Park 👀

Veterans Park will be 150-acres of much anticipated greenspace on the west side of along Veterans Parkway and I-840, with one main entrance off Veterans Pkwy. with a parking area and secondary access point off Cloister Dr.

The park will include 1.5 miles of walking trails, a destination playground, pickleball courts, four large pavilions and a beautiful event space.

The park’s design also includes regenerative natural areas that showcase native prairie grasses, rock croppings, and preserved habitats, making it a haven for both wildlife and human visitors.

At the center of excitement is the Destination Playground, for children of all abilities to explore, climb, slide, and imagine freely. One standout feature is a climbing dome made of webbed rope-like material and anchored to dramatic steel arches—a structure that promotes physical development and problem-solving through play.

Target opening date is August 2026.
