Martin's Home & Garden Nature’s happiest corner in Murfreesboro, TN. Proudly serving the Middle Tennessee area for over 44 years! 🌱 As the business grew, space became strained.

In February 1982, John and Helen Martin moved their family from Pennsylvania to Tennessee. John and Helen shared a vision for a family-owned and operated business. With a love for growing things, they began with one greenhouse to grow vegetable plants in order to sell produce locally. Over the next few years, more greenhouses were added, and they started growing and selling bedding plants. They purchased a piece of property and became a full-service garden center. In 2003, the Martins moved the store to a bigger lot on Broad Street which has expanded to cover nearly five acres. In 2009, their son Lester Martin took over the business with John remaining very involved. John still picks up plants, produce, and baked goods from our local vendors. The Martin family continues to grow petunias and mums on the family farm that are sold at the garden center. Our mission statement is: Each Martin’s Home & Garden employee will strive to be a blessing and a light to Murfreesboro and Middle Tennessee by providing each customer with exceptional service and top-quality products in a friendly shopping environment. Because of our high standards, we have customers that shop with us today that have been with us since the Martins first began selling products in 1982.

The weather could not have been more perfect, and our Fall Festival was such a huge success! We are so incredibly thankful for every single person who came out, supported our vendors, shopped with us, and spent the day at Martin’s.

Seeing so many familiar faces and new ones enjoying a beautiful fall day together is exactly why this is one of our favorite days of the year.

Thank you, Jesus, for the beautiful weather, and thank YOU for showing up and making today so special. We truly have the best community!!!! 💌🌱🌞🌸✨🌾🍂🎃

Morgan is our General Manager here at Martin’s Home & Garden and keeps all the moving pieces moving! From supporting our team to helping things run smoothly day to day, she plays a huge part in making Martin’s what it is.
