Hey planty people, I’ve been quiet on social media lately because, 1. wow running a business that requires you to care for like a million living things along with all the other business-y things and living life at the same time is very hard 😅 2. Social Media is the worst and seems to be the #1 leading cause of “The Big Bummer” or however you’ve decided to name your own personal brain scaries.
Anyway, in an effort to keep our weird little spot open with the lights on I thought I would offer Plant Tips (a totally optional always) option to tip the plant manager if you’ve gotten a particularly good bit of advice or just appreciate a ✨Vibe✨ and want to support the shop.
Plant advice will always remain free, and in some cases I should probably be paying people to listen to me yap, but times are rough and we’re getting creative. So if you’re so inclined online, in store, wherever, if you love MRC advice think about dropping a plant tip. ❤️🪴

We had a great carnivore workshop tonight after this never ending heatwave delayed us a night🥵 forever love how creative everyone is and how after all this time every single terrarium@is still unique!
It’s been a horrible plant shipping summer and I’m looking forward to the end of cardboard plant ovens arriving via fedex. Thanks you for all your understanding and support getting us through being a plant shop on the surface of the sun 🌞 🫠

One of my all time favorite, and IMO one of the coolest plants ever, the Nepenthes Miranda is up for pre order in VERY limited quantities.
The one in the picture is my personal plant when she was a baby, she’s a monster now I’ve never had the heart to chop and prop (which is a super rare thing for me) but I needed you to see the pitchers you were going to be loving as soon as you get yours.
8” Hanging Basket will be $48 link to preorder available now. Will arrive before the 17th!

This is just a little guy compared to what’s coming! Keep an eye out because you miss 100% of the plants you don’t buy.
