As Kentuckians, we continue to mourn the loss of Wendell Berry this week. His words have brought comfort to us in difficult times, and we know they’ll be relevant in years to come. He wrote novels, essays, and poetry, so there’s something for just about everyone.

This 19th Century Danner Revolving Bookcase may be the best thing I’ve bought in my entire life! We bought it this weekend from a lovely couple who purchased several years ago from Joe Nanney’s estate sale. I’m glad to have a part of the Circus Skate legacy in our home! Someday it’ll find its home at Bolin Books…but for now it’s staying right next to my reading chair.
