I’ve been watching the series The Chosen all over again and it’s made me realize just how opposite the ways of the world is compared to the ways of Jesus or even the way we think is opposite of the way that He thinks. More and more I see why he tells us to renew our mind by the reading of his Word, but not only that after we read it, we must apply it. Then and only then will we get more understanding. Normally what He ask of us is the hard thing to do, but it’s the most rewarding. If we’re still operating life by our feelings, then we definitely have not applied the Words of Jesus to our lives. Makes me cringe when I hear people say the statement,”just follow your heart. “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jeremiah 17:19
Don’t follow your heart…follow Jesus.
