Before I head in and start wrapping everybody else’s rods, I figured I’d get a little fishing in myself.

Sunrise, saltwater, and a spoon ready to find a Spanish mackerel. Doesn’t get much better than that.

💚 SEPTEMBER IS SU***DE PREVENTION MONTH 💚

At Fishing for the Mission 22, this isn’t just another awareness month.

It’s the reason behind the mission.

Too many Veterans and First Responders carry battles long after the uniform comes off or the shift ends. Some wounds are visible. Many aren’t.

Sometimes the person struggling the most is the one still showing up every day.
The one making everyone else laugh.
The one saying, “I’m good.”
The one nobody thought to check on.

So this month (and every month) check on your people.

Send the text.
Make the call.
Sit beside them.
Listen without trying to fix everything.
Remind them that asking for help is not weakness.

And if YOU are the one struggling right now, please stay.

Your story is not finished.
Your presence matters.
There are people who want you here, even when your mind is telling you otherwise.

Today we’re taking a moment to recognize the men and women who put in the hard work every day to keep this country moving forward.

From the jobsite to the boat deck, from the shop to the water — hard work, dedication, and craftsmanship still matter. 💪🏼🎣

We’re proud to build every rod by hand right here in the Lowcountry, and we’re grateful for every customer who supports a small business and American craftsmanship.
