Good Friday morning!
Hot coffee and sawdust in my hair makes for a great start to the weekend.

I've been building our signature stools from beautiful wood rounds faster than I can replenish our stock to dry.
So, I filled the morning hours creating stock to set aside to dry.

Cottonwood is popular in my neck of the woods 🪵 and makes a sturdy seat with unique ring patterns for our stools. It's quite dense and will take some months to dry out completely, so I'll cut a variety of woods over the next month, some with shorter drying times, to ensure I've got a steady supply for orders and the seasons ahead.
