A quick note on what happens when your refrigerator gives up at the worst possible time: it does not care about your schedule. It has never once cared.

That is why our appliance repair side stays busy this time of year. The service van has been out across Muscatine and surrounding areas lately on calls for refrigerators, freezers, ovens, and dishwashers, and our crew will always tell you straight whether a fix makes sense or whether the unit has earned its retirement.

If retirement is the answer, our used appliance store keeps the floor stocked with certified used options, from refrigerators to washers and dryers. Everything is cleaned, tested, and covered by a 30-day warranty, and the mix of discount appliances and scratch and dent appliances rotates often.

• Appliance service for washers, dryers, stoves, ovens, and more
• Affordable appliances with honest price tags right on each unit
• Cords in 3 prong and 4 prong, 4-foot and 6-foot, so setup goes smoothly

Fall is when kitchens work overtime, so it is a fair season to make sure yours can keep up.

Swing by the showroom to browse, or send us a note about what is acting up at home. We are happy to talk it through.

If you have ever driven past the big Weikert sign on East 9th Street and thought "I really should stop in one of these days," consider this your friendly nudge. The sign has been waving at traffic for years, and the showroom behind it is always worth the pull-in.

Right now the floor has a solid mix of refrigerators, freezers, stoves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers, all certified used, cleaned, tested, and covered by a 30-day warranty. As your local used appliance store, we keep the lineup rotating, with discount appliances and scratch and dent appliances coming through often enough that repeat visitors usually spot something new. Affordable appliances are kind of our whole personality around here.

And if your current fridge just needs a little encouragement instead of a replacement, our appliance repair and appliance service crew works on refrigerators, stoves, ovens, dishwashers, washers, and dryers for homes all across Muscatine and surrounding areas. Early fall is a great time to get things sorted before holiday cooking season puts your kitchen to the test.

Next time you are rolling down 9th Street, swing in and take a look around. The sign is hard to miss, and the inventory is even harder to walk away from.

Fall has arrived, which means your refrigerator is about to enter its busiest season. Holiday leftovers are coming, and that old fridge running warmer than it should is basically a science experiment waiting to happen.

Our showroom floor is currently packed with refrigerators in stainless steel, black, and white finishes, plus a solid lineup of electric and gas ranges for anyone planning big autumn meals. Price tags are clearly marked on most models, so you can browse honestly and at your own pace. As a used appliance store, we keep a mix of discount appliances and scratch and dent appliances rotating through, and every certified used unit is cleaned, tested, and backed by a 30-day warranty.

• Used appliances inspected and ready for a second run
• Affordable appliances with tags you can actually read from across the room
• Appliance repair and appliance service for fridges, ovens, and stoves that still have fight left

We deliver throughout Muscatine and surrounding areas, with curbside drop-off and a cart you can borrow to help get things inside. Old appliances can even be strapped on the cart for removal, so the dinosaur fridge does not have to live in your garage forever.

Swing by the showroom and give a few door handles a tug. The right refrigerator tends to make itself known.

Washers and dryers as far as the eye can see. Our showroom looks less like a store and more like a laundromat that won the lottery.

If your current washer sounds like it is washing a bag of rocks, or your dryer takes three cycles and a prayer to dry one towel, it might be time to upgrade to one of our used appliances. Every machine on our floor is certified used, freshly cleaned, tested, and backed by a 30-day warranty. As a used appliance store, we believe discount appliances should save you money, not give you trust issues.

- Affordable appliances in every size and style
- Scratch and dent appliances that work hard and cost less
- Appliance repair and appliance service if your old machine just needs a tune-up instead of a retirement party
