Sometimes you need to give credit where credit is due. Last night was the last night for the live sale at the Merc.. if you knew the amount of consistent work that production took to maintain over the last 6.5 years your jaws would hit the floor. Week after week these ladies came in and made it happen.

Every single business on Pine Street felt the effects the day after when people came in on Thursday’s to pick up their purchases. They stayed for lunch, they shopped our shops, or they would just pop in to say hi. For me personally we had many Thursday’s that were the best day of our week because of it.

Nearly 6 years ago when I decided to open this shop the only place I ever considered was right next to Beth’s. My calculation was if I only got her overflow I’d be ok. Years later that turned out to be true.

This place isn’t just a shop. We’ve become a gathering of people passionate about collecting, shopping, and sharing in each others lives. What Beth started years ago has impacted so many others in so many ways. We see you weekly, we’ve been to your homes, and we’ve celebrated our little wins time and time again.

I’ll say this after knowing Beth for years now. The lady is the Energizer Bunny. She’s not going anywhere. There will still be live sales, she’ll still be in the shop, and you’ll still run into her around town. The lady just can’t stop. Yes, it’s sad to not see them each Wednesday night, but for gods sakes give em a brake! How many more sale names can Lori come up with weekly?
