📣Mum Reminder📣

If you have mums planted in the ground, now is the time to cut them back so they will bloom in the fall.

✂️Cut them in half of what they are now.

Check out our mums growing at the nursery! They look AMAZING!

I know we have had lots of rain recently but this week is going to be a scorcher and we are going to have to start watering!

💧Watering Tips to Keep Your Plants Happy

🌿 1. Water early! Morning is the best time so your plants can get a good drink before the afternoon heat.

🌸 2. Soak them well. A deep watering is much better than a quick sprinkle—it helps roots grow deeper and stronger.

🌼 3. Water the roots, not the leaves. Aim for the base of the plant where the water is needed most.

🪴 4. Don’t forget your pots and hanging baskets! They dry out much faster than plants in the ground and may need water twice a day during this heat.

With all the rain, it may be time to apply your slow release fertilizer
