As we step into the new year, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped sustain our programs and services throughout 2025—and to all who made Christmas truly magical for our children. Because of you, this season was filled with joy, generosity, and love.
🎄 A Special Thank You To:
• Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) – As always, your faithful support and generous gifts mean so much to us and the children we serve. We are deeply grateful.
• Oak Grove Baptist Church – Thank you for hosting a wonderful Christmas party filled with food, gifts, old-fashioned candy bags, oranges, and apples. The kids had an amazing time!
• Julie, owner of the Amish Country Store & Restaurant – For the past four years, Julie has graciously hosted our children for a Christmas meal. What began as a traditional dinner has turned into an extra-special treat where the kids can now choose anything off the menu. Your continued kindness makes such a difference!
• Chuck Bomgaar – Thank you for purchasing desks, chairs, and rugs for the kids’ room. These will be perfect for art projects and creating a comfortable, creative space.
• Oklahoma Indian Biker Club (OIB) – For ten years, you’ve invited the kids to a Christmas party, blessing them with gifts, gift cards, and a potluck dinner. Your decade of dedication is truly appreciated.
• Emelin Smittle – About five years ago, Emelin chose to have her birthday guests bring Christmas gifts for a Murrow child instead of birthday presents for herself. She continues this tradition today, and now other families are joining in. What a beautiful example of generosity!
• Les McGee & Supporting Businesses – Les requested $1,100 from the State American Indian Chamber of Commerce for Christmas gifts. Not only was that amount given, but three businesses matched it—PDS Gaming (Las Vegas, NV), Direct 2 Completion (Tulsa), and Amanda Thompson (Broken Arrow). Together, $4,400 was raised to bless our children. Incredible!
• Locust Grove Baptist Church – Thank you for providing pizza for our New Year’s Eve celebration! 🍕
Because of each of you, our children experienced love, celebration, and community this holiday season.
As we move into 2026, we are engaging in strategic planning to prioritize our goals and strengthen our programs. Through improved delivery of services, we are committed to breaking the cycle of abuse and changing the trajectory of our children’s lives.
Thank you for standing with us, believing in our mission, and investing in our children. Here’s to a year of hope, growth, and impact! 💛
