Yesterday’s bead play - another spider! This time it’s hanging. I used old costume jewelry for the body and a mix of glass beads and agate beads for the legs.

Today’s beaded trial - A Christmas spider. The story is actually quite sweet. Measures about 5”.

I used all thrifted beads as well as a few from my mother’s old costume jewelry. There’s wood, rubber, and crystals.

Very fun to make.

One more Sun catcher. Wire wrapped faceted crystal beads on a 5” hoop. I repurposed a dragonfly necklace pendant for the focal at the bottom.

My biggest challenge was the darn split rings - even with split ring pliers!

Focusing on working with wire and beads for the summer. Here is a sun catcher inspired by SunSpun Creations designs. I repurposed a very old beading kit - probably older than my sons 😆! This was a way for me to practice, trial and error, etc. I added a crystal dangle in the end and a glass butterfly at the top.

I’m happy with the outcome and recognize my areas for improvement.

Been playing with agate slices, Evil Eye charms in my macrame to create sun catchers. Finally decided to try some simple crystal sun catchers. Fun to make! Plans on upping my game!

A custom dream catcher for a young lady in Charlotte. I worked with her mom to create this beauty to help her with sweet dreams!

I used # 2, 3 and 4 mm cord - 3 ply and Ganxxet single ply, a waxed cord for the web, Czech Republic glass beads, a repurposed rose quartz heart, and clear quartz points in the macrame diamonds. I truly hopes she likes it. Definitely a labor of love 💕🦋!
