With the heat and humidity being as extreme as it’s been, and starting to feel the impacts of it more with pregnancy, I will be postponing Conway Markets until talking to my doctor to get their advice on what they recommend.

I love ya, Conway.
I also know I have a product you all aren’t looking for every week.
The risks versus rewards are being weighed and I’ll keep you posted!

In the meantime, I’ve got to do what’s best for our little family (and you can always still shop online)!

You can still see me in Surfside every Tuesday for the foreseeable future as I have an awesome husband who is able to take Tuesdays off to help me. ❤️

Big news…
The Littlest Selah will be arriving this November! 🤍

While this is super exciting for my husband and I, it will mean some impacts on business this coming year - particularly market and festival schedules.

While I am so fortunate to have incredible support surrounding me, this business is still currently a one-woman show. This means you may not see me as much in person this summer or fall. In person events are far more physical than a lot of people who aren’t in the market world realize, and sometimes it may just not be feasible.

HOWEVER, what this doesn’t mean:
✨I won’t be creating new designs.
I will definitely still be creating, working, and growing A Little Selah! Don’t worry- new designs and products are still on the horizon! You will just need to order online more than in previous years if you tend to be an in person customer.
✨I’ll never be at markets or festivals.
I still plan to be present in person, it just won’t be as often as the past few years! Keep your eyes peeled for updates about where I’ll be in person - I will update socials often with that information.
✨A Little Selah is going out of business.
SURE NOT! This business was a way for me and my family to grow with flexibility, and your support has allowed us to do just that over the past 4 years! While things will start to look a little different, it doesn’t mean I’m going anywhere!

As always, I am SO grateful to you all for the support you have shown me these past few years and the way you have allowed my dreams to blossom!

Thank you for continuing to love and support us through this transition, and I can’t wait to continue to bring you more moments of Selah. 🤍

Turns out I have a copycat 🙃

And while “imitation is the greatest form of flattery”, in this case it’s actually caused a lot of confusion amongst customers and frustration on my end.

From my business cards to my designs, and even the way I photograph and package my product - I’ve had multiple people tell me about this person and their business.

So after blocking them on every account I can think of, here’s what I’m left knowing: they aren’t me.

They require me to make a step before they can make theirs. They need my creativity to fuel their business. They need my contacts to squeeze in my space. They need me to lay groundwork so they can figure out what direction to go.

And while it’s disappointing (especially because I befriended this person years ago and recommended people to them for what their original business was), it’s a reminder I’m on to something.

What’s been created is something you all love.
What’s been designed is something worth trying to mimic.
What’s happening is good. Good enough others want it for themselves.

That said: thank you for being with me on this journey. If it weren’t for you all, reminding me the value you see in what I do, I’d probably be a lot more bothered by what’s going on (even though I do plan to protect myself and my business in some new ways moving forward). 😬
