ATTENTION RECENT CWP STUDENTS!

SLED has released a new updated online Application portal for submitting your CWP Application and ongoing management of your CWP.

ATTENTION – ALL RECENT CWP CERTIFICATION STUDENTS

At this time, there is still no additional information regarding when IdentoGO will be back up and running for digital fingerprinting and application submission. There is also some uncertainty as to whether IdentoGO will continue to be part of the CWP program as an option for fingerprinting and application submission. We are actively awaiting further guidance on this matter.

IN THE MEANTIME, we encourage recent students who have completed the CWP certification course to plan to have their fingerprinting completed at the Horry County Sheriff’s Office (information below). Once completed, please mail your Fingerprint Cards, CWP Application, and Atudent Checklist directly to SLED at the address listed below.

The Horry County Sheriff’s Office provides the fingerprint cards, and this service is free of charge.

We apologize for any confusion this situation may have caused and want to assure you that we are actively working to obtain clear and accurate information regarding how this process will move forward. Updates will be shared as soon as they become available.
