Olde Mistick Village, the iconic shopping and dining experience with a colonial village atmosphere, is hosting its 17th annual award-winning Garlic Festival today and tomorrow!
Saturday: 11am to 7pm
Sunday: 11am to 6pm
This award-winning food festival is dedicated to all things garlic. To celebrate the abundant fall harvest, farmers from the region will present an amazing variety of garlic for sale. They will also be selling fresh produce, jams, preserves, syrups, honey, herbs, baked goods, and more.
Live music will be playing through the day by talented local bands and musicians!
Throughout the day and evening, local restaurants and food establishments will serve, for purchase, delicious garlic-related foods as well as non-garlic favorites.
"If you like garlic, this is the place to be! Even if you don't, there's something for everyone," said Chris Regan, property manager of Olde Mistick Village.
The event will also host more than 40 merchants, artisans, authors, and artists who will line the pathways of the village, displaying their food, crafts, gifts, and talents. Olde Mistick Village merchants will be offering garlic-related products and activities in their stores.
The event will be held on Sat., Sept. 21 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sun., Sept. 22 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
