Please pray for Levi and his family. I spoke to Levi’s mom Kallie this afternoon. Kallie’s best friend Mindy wrote this to me. The family appreciates your prayers.

Yesterday afternoon Levi wanted to ride his tractor around the yard, and he’s always good about staying close. Kallie got him set up and quickly ran in the house to check on their baby. She looked out the window to look for him and couldn’t see him. She immediately took off in their Ranger to look for him. There is a creek that runs through their property line and her parent’s house. Usually it’s really low, but with the spring run off there’s a bit more water and flow than normal. Kallie reached the wash they drive through to get to the other property, when she got there she saw his little tractor overturned. This was around 6 pm. She immediately called 911 and jumped in the water to look for him. They found him roughly (she thinks) a mile down stream. We think he thought he could cross the wash in his tractor like they do in their ranger, not realizing in his little mind that it was dangerous, and got swept away. It sounds like the emergency response team got there pretty quick and immediately started performing life saving measures. We don’t know how long he was under. They got him to the hospital, were able to get him stable enough (heartbeat, tubed, and body temp up) to transport him via life flight from Beaver to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake. Landed around 9:30 pm MST. From there they did CT scans advising there was no brain activity. As of midnight, they were preparing to end care. During shift change this morning, the new doctor performed a neuro exam prior to the final steps, and was shocked at his positive response. She told Kallie and Spencer she didn’t want to give them false hope, but the signs were promising enough she felt he deserved a bit more time. So that’s where we are currently. Just hoping he continues to show small signs of improvement and can hang on long enough for a miracle to happen.
