For the 4th of July holiday:
We have normal hours all week.

A couple weeks ago, we did a little remodel here to remove a dividing wall and notice there was room for more efficiency.
So, we got some more shelves and added more display space.

We've also re-stocked earlier this week.... and some more today... and some more tomorrow.

On Monday, we are scheduled to receive a shipment from a new distributor with some new product lines.

This is a "test" order to see how well certain lines do here.

We'll be getting a limited amount of S.H. Figuarts and GunPla in this order.

We've had a very little of these before, but feeback has suggested that there is demand for these.

We appreciate the support we've seen so far.
Our little shop is beating expectations for the first year and we look forward to evolving further to become an even more complete anime shop.

We've remodeled a little.

Creamy Anime is by no means a large shop, just under 500sq ft.
But, we aim for max efficiency in packing in as much anime goods as possible.

Previously, a wall divided the back half of the shop. So we took out the wall, added a new row of shelves (increasing display space by nearly 10%) and improved the flow/feel of the place.

We also put out quite a lot of new stock, including many odd and older figures.

For Re:zero fan, we finally got one of the guys from the show... No, its not Subaru... Its Ferris, of course. (don't worry, I'll keep looking for Subaru figures)

We carry a wide variety of anime figures as well as tapestries, CDs, records, etc.

Our goal is to be both: Your local anime shop and your best choice for pricing. An honest shop with staff who love anime and fair pricing.
We price as competitively as possible vs online prices. Idaho Sales Tax is included in our pricing.
Pricing is also clearly marked.

People often ask how often we restock.

Its usually based on sales. The more we sell, the more we buy (maybe that's obvious).

This week, we had 7 boxes. It'll vary from 3 to 12 usually.

Some items such as records, CDs, video games take a little longer to price and get on the shelf as those items all need inspected closely.

So, what's new today? Some Naruto, some vocaloid, some $$$ figures, some frieren, some madoka, other misc.

Next week we expect quite a few boxes as well... and more the week after that. Its neverending really. There are more figures, CDs, some games coming soon. More records a little later.

The shop's been open nearly 7 months now. We are starting to get a better understanding of our customer base and our little shop will continue to evolve.

We are doing our best to keep prices stable. There's quite a lot of economic pressures with tariff (they're still there) and rising oil prices pulling up shipping costs. We always include sales tax in our pricing for nice clear pricing.

But enough of the serious stuff. We really do hope people are enjoying the shop. it is a business to make money, but its also something we want to do. Some anime vendors don't watch/know/care very much, but we watch a ton and know quite a bit about many series.

We occasionally do vending at events.
Our goal is to keep the shop open whenever possible. A few bigger events that we do vend at require us to close the shop.

Bordertown Comic Con, Ontario, OR - March 14-15, 2026.
The shop will be CLOSED Fri March 13, Sat March 14, and Sun March 15.

Cars and Anime, Caldwell, ID - June 13-14, 2026.
The shop will remain open during this event.

AnimeID, Caldwell, ID Sept 19-20, 2026.
The Shop will be CLOSED Fri Sept 18, Sat Sept 19, Sun Sept 20, and Mon Sept 21.

Idaho Japanese Association, Japan Day, Boise ID - Sept 27.
The Shop will remain open during this event.

We may add another event or two as the year progresses, but those events will not require the shop to be closed during the event.

There's 80-90 figure arriving that should be priced and added to the shop by Sunday.

Then there's quite a lot arrving next week. The longer we are open, the more we've been learning about the business and what customers are looking for. People have made all kinds of requests, we take those down and those series/products. Customers have come back and found that we've stocked a series they requested. It's cool.

The longer we are here, the more the shop will evolve. Both of us here are long time anime fans. Of course the shop is a business, but we are here for so much more than that. This is our contribution to the community.

We got in about 60 new tapestries this week.

There have been some price reductions on some items in the shop.
This is a business without MSRP, so pricing for a new business is a challenge. At first, we looked at pricing online and based many items on that. With a little more experience, we have dropped prices on the older stock of tapestries.
Our goal is to sell stuff and buy more stuff, keeping inventory fresher.
Many of the oldest stock of bulk CDs have been marked down from $3 to $1 to make room for a new shipment of CDs (there is only so much space at thee shop)
Figures from Love Live and The Quintessential Quintuplets have also seen some discounting as they have been slow to move.

We order a lot of stuff and sometimes... We get goods that are not new in box.
We just got in a whole stack of open box figures.

On boxed figures, if the seal is broken we consider it open box and mark open box figures at reduced prices.
We inspect open box figures closely for damage or dirt and then grade them.

Grade A: Like new, seal on box is broken. appears to have never been displayed (sometimes not even removed from box), in original interior package.

Grade B: No known issues. Looks new. Usually not containing original interior packaging. We still consider it a step down from A

Grade C: Looks good. Maybe minor scuffs, maybe dirty/dusty from having been displayed. Any issues are noted.

Grade Junk: No box or poorly repackaged or broken. It exists... If you want it, its cheap.

We dont clean open boxes figures as we don't want to represent them for a higher grade than we received them.

In this picture, main character uma musume are $15 for grade B and $10 for grade C. Brand new, these are $30.
You can buy a dusty uma at $10, clean it and it may look just as good as new, but because it is not a sealed, new in box product; its marked down.

Open box is not good value for us. When we do get them, we sell them accordingly even if at a loss.

Almost all of our first big restock has arrived.

Lots of Naruto, some Jojo's, some new Miku, some new Evangelion, Madoka, Sailor Moon, and many others.

We did sell some stuff at the shop and the con we did last weekend, so ordered a bunch more stuff. Should start arriving in a week and half or so (shipping varies wildly right now)

We are down in Twin Falls this weekend at Magic Valley Comic Con.

We brought much of our stock with us, so a wide range of goods to shop.

The shop is closed today and tomorrow (Sat Sept 13 and Sun Sept 14th)

The shop will be open on Monday with 100+ new figures that are arriving this weekend.
