Y’all see the price of a fresh candy fruit tray and immediately start doing Walmart math. 😭
“THAT MUCH?! 😳 I can buy fruit at the grocery store!”

Then go buy the fruit. 😂
Nobody is stopping you—the produce aisle is wide open! 🛒🤣
But PLEASE stop comparing a small business making your candy fruit fresh to a corporation selling plain fruit by the thousands.
Because baby… that math ain’t mathing! 😂
You’re not paying for “just some fruit.”
You’re paying for:
✨ Fresh fruit
✨ Candy coating ingredients
✨ Flavoring and toppings
✨ Containers and packaging
✨ Supplies and equipment
✨ Electricity and water
✨ Preparation and cleanup
✨ My TIME
✨ My LABOR
✨ My SKILL
✨ My CREATIVITY
✨ My EXPERIENCE
And don’t forget the convenience of messaging me, saying, “I want grapes, strawberries, and pineapple,” and magically receiving a fresh, colorful candy fruit creation without having to make the sticky mess yourself. 😂🍇🍓🍍
I answer the messages.
I shop for the fruit.
I wash and prepare everything.
I make the candy coating.
I dip every piece.
I decorate the tray.
I package the order.
I clean the whole kitchen afterward.
And somehow the part getting questioned is the PRICE?! 😭😂
Meanwhile, some of y’all will spend $10 on a drink you finish before you even get home—but when a small business owner prices handmade treats, suddenly everybody becomes an accountant! 💀📊😂
PLEASE!
Affordable does NOT mean underpriced.
I know what my ingredients cost.
I know how long each order takes.
I know what my time is worth.
And I’m not working for free just because somebody else charges less.
Fresh, handmade candy fruit has VALUE! 💯🍬🍇
So if my prices aren’t for you, that’s okay. ❤️
