Next year, in 2027, The Golden Basket will celebrate our 50th anniversary! 50 years of Nantucket tradition, iconic island history, and original fine jewelry. In 1977, Glenaan designed the first miniature basket in gold. Since then, these charms have carried the legacy of the island throughout generations, and have represented some of the most meaningful island memories for so many people. To help us celebrate our 50th anniversary, we’re asking our valued clients to share with us your memories of The Golden Basket - it could be a memory of your first purchase, a visit to one of our shops on Main Street or Straight Wharf, a meaningful gift and opening our signature pink box, or a special conversation with Glenaan that stayed in your mind for years :) even just a photo or a memory of the island from the 70’s!
