In 1983, we opened the doors in a small building, carrying only the bare essentials for fermentation. Since then, the community has helped us turn a family's dream into a major resource for wineries along with home winemakers and brewers. building and offers everything for the wine industry, supplies for home wine-making and home brewing as well as monthly beer brewing classes. In addition, we sell Karcher pressure washers and employ a full time Karcher technician.

Today marks the 40th anniversary of opening Napa Fermentation Supplies. Pat Watkins had an idea, a dream, and ultimately a successful business. He was proud of his creation and always thanked his wonderful customers. Without our many customers we would not be here today.

Today also marks 15 months since Pat passed away. Patrick, Colleen, and crew are continuing to honor Pat’s dream.

We are also so grateful to our many employees over the years. From our very first employee Chris in 1989, to our most recent employee Todd. Thank you Chris, Pat (Pat’s dad) son Patrick (he was an employee before he became an owner), Carole, Bob (not an employee but a friend always there to help us) Janet, Alma, Jon L, Ben, Lisa, Jon C, Crystal, Whitney, Kyle, Ken, Suzanne, Nathan, Andrew, Van, Eddie, Byron, Steve, Teresa, Chloe, Mike, Andrea, Auston, Brennon and Todd.

Thank you all! March 2, 1983 to March 2, 2023…how the years have flown. Many of our customers became our personal friends. We are grateful to all who have entered our store over the past 40 years.
