Introducing our new featured espresso for the month of June...Anchor & Tree Coffee Roasting! ☕🌈 is an eco-friendly, q***r and family-owned business based in the heart of Midtown Sacramento. They’re dedicated to delivering exceptional, eco-friendly coffee that enriches their communities...and you can try it all month long at Canary Coffee inside Napa Bookmine!

What makes Anchor & Tree’s coffee so eco-friendly? Most coffee is roasted using natural gas, which is heavily carbon-intensive. In this method, natural gas is burned at the source and spews CO2 directly into the air. Anchor & Tree uses a zero-gas emission method made possible by the Bellwether electric roaster. The Bellwether roaster runs purely on electricity, using an electric heating element which surrounds the roasting drum, achieving a more precise roast without using gas. We’ll raise a cuppa to that! 💫
