Want to grab come cute flowers this weekend? I grow some super special one-of-a-kind Zinnias and a variety of other cute colorful flowers that you can’t find in the stores! I’ll be offering arrangements in bud vases and mason jars!

I couldn’t wait for flower season so I started a few zinnia early in my not really knowing what would happen. Now I have these insanely healthy plants in these gorgeous blooms that are only a couple weeks!

I am so excited for flower growing season. Here in the Chicago area we still have a few more months before the garden can happily grow outside…. Sooo, I started a couple in my aero garden, just for fun. I planted “All the Beauty” zinnia seeds from . These seeds were started 2/23… and three weeks later one has a bud!!!

I know Zinnia seeds typically germinate pretty quickly, but this is kind of amazing! Two of my nine seeds I planted in the Aerogarden (because I really have a flower itch and I can’t wait!) sprouted in 24 hours! These are from All the Beauty mix. # seeds

This summer I’ll be offering beautiful, fresh flowers from my garden at a self-service flower stand right here in the neighborhood.

I’ll have small, affordable bouquets ready to grab, as well as cut flower stems for those who love to do their own arranging.

I mainly grow specialty Zinnias—think creamy neutrals, fluffy pinks, and unique varieties you don’t usually find in stores. Zinnias are a favorite of mine not only because they’re gorgeous, but also because they have an amazing vase life. I’ll also have dahlias and a few other blooms mixed in to keep things interesting and seasonal.
