ABOUT US...I had a pretty decent career, great friends, a home, a car...I have never been about the extravagances of life. I was simply happy to be here to be happy. One day, my daughter (at the time 6) were listening to a song, "I Choose" by one of favorite artists, India Arie from her latest album which was released in 2006 My daughter took from that song that in life you will have some trying

to drag you down, but sometimes you just have to let go and be grateful for what you have and for the skin you are in. So my daughter and I decided to think of things we would choose to do different and we decided on NOTHING. Because our mistakes painted the beautiful portrait of who we are today. Then we began to think of choices we could make today to change the world tomorrow and from that CHOOZ was birthed. CHOOZ is about getting to know one's pages instead of judging them from their cover. CHOOZ is about realizing that a simple smile and or acknowledgement can be the cure to so much that is debilitating the world around us. CHOOZ is about being a billboard for change.
