There’s something so special about watching kids create a gift from their hearts. 🥹
Tonight, Grayson and Aubrey made a necklace for their teacher’s mom—someone who has become like a second grandma to them. As they picked each charm, they explained exactly why it belonged.
☕ “Coffee because it’s her favorite.” — Grayson
😊 “A smiley face because she makes us happy.” — Aubrey
🐾 “A paw print because she loves dogs…I think she has one! If not, it’ll be for Rocky.” — Grayson
❤️ “A heart… because we love her.” — Both
🔤 “The letter O because that’s what we call her, Wait is her real name Oomie?”
⭐ “This is perfect!” (holding a starfish)
“It’s for Oomie, Aubrey.”
“It’s okay… she likes the beach. Or she’ll think of me because I’m a mermaid.”
Grayson rolls his eyes… pauses…
“…Actually, that’s cute.” 😂
💚 “Green because it’s her birthstone… and it’s my favorite color.” — Grayson
Finally I had to step in and say,
“Okay guys… no more or it’s going to cover her whole neck!” 😂
Moments like these are exactly why I love what I do.
We’re not just making jewelry.
We’re preserving little pieces of people’s stories, personalities, memories, and love in something they can wear every single day.
And sometimes… it’s the conversations behind the charms that become the most meaningful part of all. 🤍✨
