For more than 50 years, Kaffe Fassett has encouraged makers to be braver with color, trust their creative instincts and look at the world a little differently. His remarkable career has included nearly 50 books, international exhibitions and the honor of becoming the first living textile artist to have a one-man show at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum.

Alongside him is Brandon Mably—an accomplished textile designer, gifted teacher and longtime creative force behind the Kaffe Fassett Studio. Together, they have inspired quilters and makers around the world with their unmistakable use of color, pattern and joyful creativity.

This lecture is a rare opportunity to hear their stories, see what inspires their work and experience the warmth, humor and creative energy they bring wherever they go. You’ll leave looking at color with fresh eyes—and ready to try something new in your own creative work.
