Join us on Saturday, August 29, for a special fundraiser supporting Operation Delta Dog, held in conjunction with an author event featuring Trisha Blanchet, founder of Operation Delta Dog and author of Murder Like Magic.

Operation Delta Dog is a nonprofit organization that rescues shelter dogs, trains them as service dogs, and places them with veterans living with PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, and military sexual trauma. Representatives from the organization will be at Balin Books from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM, where you can learn more about their mission, make a donation, and shop Operation Delta Dog merchandise.

In addition, a portion of all Balin Books sales throughout the day will be donated to Operation Delta Dog, so every purchase helps support this incredible cause.

📣 Join us for a special event with Trisha Blanchet, author of Murder Like Magic, in conversation with Charlotte Troddyn, Executive Director of Operation Delta Dog, as she discusses her new book.

This speculative mystery features Tess Tulley, a struggling private investigator with limited telepathic abilities. When she's drawn into the bizarre murder of a fellow witch, Tess must navigate old grudges, supernatural secrets, and a dangerous investigation to uncover the killer before she becomes the next victim.
