Sometimes you just need quiet afternoons of rain to quiet your mind…

I got home after my appointment and I just needed a little quiet. I have been overwhelmed, stressed and exhausted.
This wk, I needed affirmations and I was given them by multiple ppl without asking.
I know I’m going to be ok… and so are you.

It is so beautiful being able to see my son encourage others.
This young man works in a local barbershop. I saw that he was walking with a limp and a side gate… so I asked him how old he is.
This beautiful soul began to tell me his story.
At the age of 15, he was walking home from the gas station and was hit by a car. COMPLETE HIT N’ RUN!
He laid there for 2 hrs before the same car came back and saw him.
Spinal cord injury and brain damage but he is now working in a barbershop and about to graduate high school.
My son asks “Do you like Basketball?”
They sat there for what felt like forever talking about God and Basketball and Tyler encouraging him not to give up on his dreams. Talking to him about wheelchair basketball and how far he could go.
“God wants you to do what you love but he has a different path for you.”

When I say my son shines his light brighter and brighter everyday and I couldn’t be more proud of him.
