STORY TIME FRIENDS!!! I used to work at this shop in my younger years (post a 10 year run at a craft shop) called SEED People’s Market - I worked with a lot of characters there. So many different and distinct personalities not unlike other retail jobs, I am sure. But all of us, especially one specific year, really felt like family. One of the characters in that phase of my life was sweet Emily McCullar. She was from Texas, only in Sunny California for a couple of years. She was extremely intelligent, hard working, cute as can be, a bit of a ragamuffin, maybe not the best fit for interacting with people on a retail level, but 99% of the time fought through the urge to tell people exactly what she was thinking. We’ve kept in touch over the years here and there. Flash forward over 15 years and she’s back living in Texas, but came out to Nashville to write a cover story for a magazine because she is a successful writer now! And guess who she was so kind to think of and have dinner with the other day?!? ME!!! It filled me with so much joy catching up. And why am I telling you all this?! Well I noticed on Instagram that she had started doing her crafts. They looked like something we would carry at thunder moon and I asked her to bring some with her. And you guyssssssss - look at it!!! Coasters, magnet art and trinket trays - all one of a kind made by sweet Emily. Truly little pieces of art. Very very limited run. RESTOCK ALERT!!! 🚨 Colors! Stripes! Hansel from Basel has landed friends. We love them for their whimsy, their premium materials and their ethical production in countries like Japan, Korea and Portugal. You love them because they are cute, comfy and at a reasonable price! We got a lot more than what’s pictured. All are online rn and in store. Can’t wait to see you today lovies!! We’re open 11-6!

My LOVES!!! Something Non- Tomato today. Yay!! Haha. I know a lot of you have been looking for a new nail polish, right? How about one that is non-toxic, long lasting, vegan, cruelty free AND handmade in the USA by a woman-owned small biz? Sound good at the base? Well how about if I told you their colors are out-of-this-world unique with many of them being either magnetic or color changing depending on the light or the heat?!? Many of you already know about these guys because I hear the GASP when you find it in the shop, but for those who don’t know - it’s a thing. And we’ve got it!! Just added some new colors to 🤤 over. Putting them out today! Online already tho so you can see better that they look like on. I’m in the shop 11-6ish and online is open 24/7 - come discover the magic that is DEATH VALLEY NAILS - 💅 this polish is quickly taking over our self care section because when your nails look good - you feel good, am I right? I swear I’m going to post something non-tomato related tomorrow. 😂 but first - set those calendars - for all of you who have been asking “when IS Tomato Art Fest ?” It’s coming up ONE WEEK FROM SATURDAY. And I hear every single year that our lawn has such good vendors out front. This year is no exception!! We have our line up of amazing LOCAL small businesses all cooking up something real special. We will have it all - from jewelry to hats to vintage to books + art to slushies to popsicles and even tomato portraits on the porch!! Plus - all the goodness that we have to offer on the regular inside the shop. We will be open for a marathon of a day and hope to see you all with us! Tell yer friends, okay?! Love you.

Today is THE DAY!! We’re open regular hours today 12-4, but if you’re around - after we close to the general public- we’re having a special night for YOU, all our nearest and dearest - our loyal regulars who have been keeping this small business alive for nearly five years. 4-6PM it’s going to be something special for y’all. I went and snagged some wine and some stoner snacks and there’s other special things happening but ya gotta ask me for the details and the invitation. Have you all noticed that although I’m self conscious about how the shop looks through a phone lens, I’ve been trying to show you more of it? Telling the doubt in my head that you guys don’t notice all the things I do. I went in on my day off this week (it feels like weeks ago I did this. Ha.) to remerch a little. Make room for the markdowns, but also make space to highlight some other things. This is all the swim we have left. Remember it’s one size fits xs-xl. A bathing suit that can mimic your body moves!! 💯 and some “better than basics” that are the softest and drapiest you’ll ever feel. Sustainable to boot! Everything on this table will be the piece that you always wash as soon as it’s dirty to make sure you’re never without it. Come see me 11-6 today!
