We're so excited to partner with eastnashvilleq***rparents to present a super fun 🌈 storytime after the parade on Saturday, June 27! Join local teacher, Courtney Shultz, as she reads books about inclusive family structures: Love Your Neighbor by Chris Singleton and All Kinds of Families by Suzanne Lang.

Go enjoy the parade and then come hang with us on the porch to celebrate. We'll start at 1:00pm!

We had SO MUCH FUN with Carter Hamric and his new book BIG OLD DAY ON THE FARM. Carter sang for us and even let us create a little music video at the shop. Come get all four of Carter's amazing books in store now.

Our biggest event of the year is back and time is running out to sign up! This year, we’re welcoming 20-25 tables onto the Alley Shops and Thunder Moon Collective’s Lawn. Space is limited, so sign up fast!

Fairytales (in cooperation with the Five Points Alley Shops and Thunder Moon Collective) will host the second annual Kids’ Maker’s Mart on September 5, 2025 from 10:00a-12:00p (with set-up and break-down 9:30am-12:30pm). We will provide space for approved kids, accompanied by a parent or guardian, to sell handmade art, wares, and products.

Remember: finished products must be 90% handmade by the kids! See form for all rules.

THIS SATURDAY (June 13) is our first of two PRIDE storytimes this month. Join wonderful community organizer and educator, , on the porch. Mr. Jacob will read Rainbow Cookies by Leslea Newman and Z.B. Asterplume and Stella Brings the Family by Miriam B. Schiffer.

This is an outdoor event, so be prepared to sweat. Jacob will start reading at 10:30 and then lead the kids in a fun craft. We can't wait to see you!
