We are still seeking the next owner of this beloved bead and jewelry supply shop. For reasons outside of our control, we need to retire and cannot continue to run this business. She is the last independently owned bead store in Nashville, and she deserves to go on. We have spoken with several interested parties, but that perfect fit just hasn't happened yet. We are excited to talk to people who are interested and serious about continuing to serve the jewelry-making community in Nashville!

We are selling her in an asset sale, and she is priced to reflect how serious we are about getting her into the hands of someone who will take her into the future. Please buy her from us and benefit immediately from the huge number of summer tourists who love to spend money in our shop.

Black Dog Beads will be closed today, Friday, January 30, 2026 because of widespread dangerous and out of control ICE affecting many states, and threatening our neighbors and neighborhoods with ongoing damage. We will re-open tomorrow at noon. Be safe, and take care of your neighbors!

Because of the severe weather arriving overnight tonight, we will be closed today, Friday, January 23rd to prepare ourselves and our home, and will also be closed Saturday the 24th and Saturday the 25th. We hope you, too, will be preparing to the extent you are able, and will stay safe and warm!
