People of all walks of life…
I collect them you see.
I am nourished by them
and they by me.
Their stories and wisdom woven
intricately
Stitched within the intermost parts of me.

They say you are the sum of the five people you spend the most time with and for once I happen to agree with “them”.
One thing in my life that I have never had a shortage of are strong relationships . I have always been intentional about carefully curating and nurturing them.
The version of me my people talk about when I’m not in the room is the very reason most of my doors got opened in the first place.
Someone said my name in a room I wasn’t in.
Someone vouched for me before I ever had the chance to prove myself.
Someone believed in what I was building before there was any proof it would work.
That’s the kind of relationship nobody talks about enough. Not the front-facing support. The comments and the likes. The real stuff that happens behind your back that’s actually for you.
I’ve had people change the trajectory of my business with one sentence said to someone I’d never even met. Had them hold my name with more belief in it than I had myself.
That’s not small. That’s not “just being nice.” That’s power.
It’s also because I have the understanding that I also have a responsibility to be that same kind of person. To speak well of the people I love when they’re not in the room to hear it. To open doors quietly, without needing credit. To believe in someone’s potential loud enough that it reaches them even when I’m not the one saying it to their face.
So if you’ve got people in your circle who talk about you like that when you’re not there, tell them you know. And go be that for someone else too.
Love you Big,
💋Ash
