We intended to post this a few months back….Time flies! ⏰ Fourteen years at fannyshouseofmusic felt like a dream. Now Pink Star Vintage is channeling all that love into STARLAND. ⭐️
Fanny’s has always been more than a music shop. Since Pamela Cole and Leigh Maples founded it in 2008, it’s been a creative hub and cornerstone of the East side. When, the ever-inspiring, Libby Callaway passed the torch to us in 2012, we were honored to carry forward the vintage presence and beloved Fanny’s Choice Vintage Market she created.
As STARLAND grows, it needs our full attention. The space we occupied will now give Fanny’s even more room to showcase their incredible instruments … and the Fanny’s Choice Markets have been carrying on beautifully under Happy Walrus Wares.
If you’ve never visited Fanny’s, please go. A locally owned, woman-run institution offering instruments, lessons, and a community intentionally built for women, beginners, and younger musicians.
Also, Fanny’s Choice markets feature longtime favs like MisMatch & Grendel’s Choice along side of some exciting new vendors.
PinkStar’s roots go back to 2001 inside of Pre-to-Post Modern … the same space that became, our baby, STARLAND in 2021. The whole journey, now under one roof. And boy do we have some surprises in the incubator. 🐣
