Our favorite quote? Dealers George and Andrea Timmons and their spot on summation: “This was a true antiques show.” That may actually become our new tag line! Trends will come and go, but quality and authenticity will always be our specialty.

Mark your calendar for year 44
of the show on Feb 10-13, 2027 at the Fairgrounds Nashville! 🎻

At the Fiddlers Antiques Show

In B. Hannah Daniel’s booth and from Morristown, Tennessee, this pie safe with intact punched urn-form tins, decorative half-turnings under the overhanging top, two drawers, and two doors, the pie safe was priced at $2400. An appealing price, it sold mid-show. The circa 1910 Tennessee decoys were $975 for the pair. “This is a dandy,” said Daniel, when we asked about the paint-decorated metal box dated April 1, 1818. Her price: $1400. The framed “I’m in love with every star” artwork was $475.

We agree with George & Andrea - Fiddlers “is a true antiques show”’
Make plans to attend in February 2027 at the Nashville Fairgrounds. 🎻

At the Fiddlers Antiques Show:

George and Andrea Timmons of The Timmons Gallery, Woodbine, Georgia, pose with a 39½" x 29¾" print of the steamship "Knoxville."

In the late 1990s, George bought this exact print by Nagel and Weingartner when it was deaccessioned from Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum in Savannah, Georgia. He sold it to a gentleman a few months later.

In 2026, the son of the now-deceased client found the Timmons Gallery business card and called the gallery wanting to sell it for his father’s estate. George repurchased the print, reframed the 1849-56 Knoxville print, and repriced it at $3200. The print did not sell at Fiddlers, but in a phone call after the show, George said, “We had an outstanding sale” and added, “This was a true antiques show.”

At the Fiddlers Antiques Show

The booth of Jim and Jody Lowery, Baldwinsville, New York, was stocked with colorful quilts and wall hangings. This crewel and appliquéd textile from the 1850s is decorated with a two-handled vase overflowing with flowers, leaves, and vines. The Lowerys (DBA James Wm. Lowery Fine Antiques & Arts) tagged the 30" x 57" Tennessee textile at $2500. The couple and their antiques-filled home were featured in Julie Schlenger Adell’s “Hanging With” column in the February 2026 issue of M.A.D. (p. 60).

So long, Music City!

What an incredible week in Nashville at the 2026 Fiddlers Antique Show!

Thank you to everyone who came out to our event and made it such a special few days.

We heard it again and again—“beautiful show,” “so many more dealers”, “great quality, and so many interesting pieces”! That feedback means everything to us and fuels our fire for Fiddlers ‘27!

To our dealers: thank you for the hard work, the thoughtful displays, and for bringing such special, engaging pieces that sparked conversation and excitement all week long.

And to our amazing crew—you simply can’t be topped. Your effort, your teamwork, and your willingness to help anyone with anything is what makes this show run so smoothly and feel so welcoming We truly couldn’t do it without each and every one of you!

Thanks also to our hosts at The Fairgrounds Nashville - Darrin, Misty, Danny and the whole crew were super to work with - as was Erin and the catering staff from SoHo Concessions who served up a nice little taste of Nashville to all of us who came to town from far and wide.

We also join the rest of the Wednesday evening audience when we say how much we enjoyed and appreciated the talents of the local-to-us-back-home band, Coal Creek Station. The preview was a party thanks to their performance that added just the right energy to the evening.
