Bluewolf knives

Bluewolf knives Hand made hammer forged blades. Keeping an old tradition alive. I have learned from the best and continue to work and learn to make a better product.

All blades and leather work are
hand made by the maker.

This is the finished knife now I'm making a leather sheath for it.

This is not a good picture but it is what cooking a knife blade looks like. I harden the steel first now it's being drawn back so it will hold an edge and not chip.

Now that I've had second breakfast I am ready to start a new project. A customer has commissioned a new knife so I'm going to document the progress as it's being build. I am doing this so the customer can give me some input on the design. I will be using 5160 high carbon steel for a 7" blade. Brass for the guard and handle pins. The handle will either be hickory or black walnut. I am working out the design first then on to the forge next to shape the steel. More pictures after the forging.
