Today in Tennessee, it's Election Day! So, let's talk politics...or better yet, politicians.
Having the chance to travel to DC for two years now has given me the opportunity to see our elected officials, first hand, doing the job we elected them to do. While we're there advocating for education funding and music instrument tariff exemption, there are other people from around the country advocating for all sorts of other things.
The politicians representing us matter. They work hard, their staff works hard, and they have a real voice in what happens across our country and in our state. So, show up and vote, and reach out on topics that matter. For us, that means speaking for the students who need access to music education, because we know what a difference it makes in their lives, and also for the teachers who encourage and direct them.
Check out our "Tennessee Dream Team" pictures from this year's Fly-In, where our state was represented by an amazing collection of businesses, manufacturers, and non-profits, fighting for increased education funding for all students plus a new conversation about tariff exemption for musical instruments and all their components so that we can keep instruments affordable and accessible to all. Even Miss America joined us this year!
