Backs and Tracks offers a curated collection of vintage vinyl (and some CDs) for sale at Backslide Vintage (4606 Gallatin Pike) in the Inglewood neighborhood of Nashville. We have over 700 albums representing many popular genres- rock, country, R&B, jazz, blues, and more. If you’re looking for the biggest artists and popular hits, we might have it, but If you’d like to try something new or looking for something you haven’t heard of before, then we’re just what you’re looking for!

Most albums are low cost, between $6 and $10, though we do have a selection of higher-priced and hard to find collectibles.

Currently we are in the middle of a major stock rotation. Over 150 new records to offer, and new items coming soon all the time. Also coming soon, we will be (re)joining OMG (old made good) in Donelson when they reopen. Stay tuned for more info.

New look for the booth at the Robinson flea market! New $2 album section.

The kind folks at OMG have given us some additional space, and we’ll be using it for some special themed offerings. Our first batch is a collection of some Progressive Rock albums. Some of the big names in the field (ELP, Mike Oldfield, Yes) as well as some lesser-known but great bands (Camel, Kayak, Nova). Come check it out for some arty rock!

We still have our regular stock albums, as well as a group of collectibles ($20 and up) that will be completely overhauled in the next few days. Also coming to both locations this week: Christmas LPs!

We have approximately 1,000 vinyl lps and about 200 cds for sale. The albums cover all genres, but are particularly strong in jazz and classical. The cds are mostly rock and country; if you like Jackson Browne, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Emmylou Harris, and the like, this is the sale for you. All items will be $2 each, and you can take one free for every 5 that you buy. I’ll be at 2115 Geneiva Dr. in Inglewood (near Riverside Village) from 9 to 3 on Friday Oct. 19 and Saturday Oct. 20. Come on by for some great listening!

New at OMG, just in time for the holidays -- a great assortment of top-notch collectible lps, in our most popular genres! In rock, we've got some very nice Beatles (mono!), as well as Dylan, Elvis, and so on. There are country and R&B albums by the likes of Lefty Frizzell, Hank Snow, James Brown, and Sam & Dave. The jazz selection runs from Cannonball Adderley to Lester Young and includes several original Blue Notes and some other great labels from the 50's and early 60's. There are some sealed items among the offerings, as well as an autograph or two. Any of these would make a great present for the vinyl lover in your household, or a great treat for yourself!
