Butterfly mounting process

Hi everyone. Last year, I started making Butterfly Shadow Boxes, having always loved butterflies and nature in all forms! I have just been learning how to rehydrate and form them to what I want. It’s challenging working with something so delicate but I am happy with the outcomes, even if they aren’t perfect. Let’s be honest, nature isn’t perfect, it’s messy and so is life. I hope to become more creative with my pieces, finding new ways to display these beautiful creatures. Here are few pics of some butterflies in the process to be mounted and framed.
