TEN TREES BOOKS Ten Trees Books is an independently owned and operated bookstore founded by a Natick family and located in the heart of in historic Natick Center.

Ten Trees Books is a general-interest bookstore that offers books and gifts for all ages and genres. Ten Trees Books is Natick’s community bookstore. Locally owned and independently operated, the bookstore was founded by a Natick (Mom) resident with a love of the town and its vision for the future. Ten Trees Books mission is to serve the community by offering a warm, interesting environment where residents can pursue their literary interests. We foster diversity and will be uniquely focused on providing all people access to read whatever they choose. We will curate a book and gift selection that is compelling for our audience and reshape our collection as we learn more about our customers. Ten Trees Books hopes to build community by providing a space for people to gather and make connections with their neighbors. We will host a variety of events including author signings, story times, a mixture of book clubs by genre and age, and various community functions. Our store is located in the heart of Natick Center, one of the state’s designated Cultural Districts. Natick pursued this designation in an effort to cultivate a lively and diverse downtown neighborhood. Ten Trees Books is eager to contribute. The name Ten Trees Books was chosen because it connects us to Natick Town Common. In 2020 the town regrettably had to replace ten diseased Ash Trees and chose a variety of tree species selected for their diversity and ability to make the town center even more beautiful. We believe this symbolizes new beginnings, spiritual growth, and diversity. All a part of our lovely town's culture.

Join us tomorrow night at Ken’s Steakhouse for Framingham native, author and founder of Capital Wealth Management, Tom Hine’s launch of his new book, “Framingham Forever: Mark Kwiatkowski and Friendships That Last”, with a special signing event featuring WBZ’s Steve Burton. We’ll be selling books during the event. All of Tom’s proceeds from the book will be donated to the framinghamheartstudy.

About Framingham Forever: Mark Kwiatkowski and Friendships That Last Growing up in Framingham, Massachusetts, Tom and his friends shared everything: bike rides through quiet neighborhoods, late nights filled with laughter, first loves, and the unspoken bond of a generation coming of age together. At the center of it all was Mark Kwiatkowski: charismatic, endlessly kind, and unforgettable to everyone who knew him.

Taking place at Ken’s Steak House, the event will include an in-conversation segment with fellow Framingham native Steve Burton (sports anchor at Boston’s WBZ-TV) to discuss the inspiration behind the book, their lifelong friend Mark Kwiatkowski, and what makes the Framingham community so special.

A Q&A and book signing will follow the in-conversation portion, and books will
be available for sale on-site through Ten Trees Books. Light appetizers will be
served.

Join us on Friday, October 2nd, 7-8pm as Emily Murphy returns for our Stories & Songs (and Sips, too!) open house to share her outstanding talent on the keyboard. We will also be offering some sips and charcuterie to make your evening even more special. Make it a date! 📚🍷🎶

Bring a friend to browse the store, enjoy some curated w**es and listen to Emily Murphy’s beautiful piano songs as you stroll through the store.

Emily joined us for our first Stories and Songs which was so fun, we’ve continued to ask her back! Emily is a Natick resident and accomplished musician, holding a Masters degree in Musicology and Piano from the University of Washington, and a Graduate Performance Diploma from the Longy School of Music. She is on the music faculty at Boston College and Saint Joseph School.
