This has to be the biggest scheme by a private company; because I can’t understand why most containers heading to west Africa are intentionally targeted under a scheme; they charge a fee for customs inspections when this is a government agency which shouldn’t imposed any charges for performing their duties or job and they keep doing this under the guise of it’s a Contract between the us customs and east coast warehouse can somebody please stop this monopoly and intentionally targeting black and african people who’s only trying to conduct business and provide a better service to its demographic’s. The idea that a container can be targeted frivolously and after an alleged inspection and regardless of whether or not any Contraband or illegal items where found that said container will incur an additional charge normally in the thousands which must be paid within three days or else east coast warehouse will start to incur daily storage fees of 155$ I’m still trying to figure out why are such practices still being conducted and supported by the us customs alongside a private company that doesn’t even have the authority to inspect the containers but they can legally sell your container smh; what’s going on in Baltimore and the east coast ports and what’s up with this east coast warehouse and the us customs continuing this scheme, monopoly or possibly intentionally hindering of our economic potentials as a race or people.
