Some days on the river are about more than the fish. Hunter hooked into this thick-bodied rainbow in 3 Island Run just moments after his buddy Jackson landed a beautiful brown. The flies barely touched the water before this tank decided to eat.

Heading into his senior year at Las Cruces High, Hunter balances varsity baseball, fishing, and big-game hunting—but what stands out most is the kind of young man he is: respectful, humble, and an absolute blast to guide. Days like this are what it’s all about. 🎣🌈
