Celebrating this Grandparents Day by celebrating my PawPaw! His greatest gift to the world was my father and loving people JUST as they were. No judgement, no exclusion, no agenda - He truly just loved and enjoyed people. I miss him a lot but grateful to be a part of him.
One of my very favorite songs is “My Father’s Daughter” by Jewel and Dolly and I always think of him when they sing
“I am the product of his sacrifice
I am the accumulation of the dreams of generations
And their stories live in me like holy water”
