One of our customers wanted a couple perennial plants to enter into the Columbiana county fair and she took 1st place for her pollinator pot. She got a Coreopsis uptick gold & bronze and a Echinacea Sunseekers Golden Sun and added a few from her own garden…

Most gardeners who find hornworms immediately start looking for the fastest way to kill every single one of them. Which is understandable, because these things are enormous, eat constantly, and can defoliate a tomato plant in a matter of days. But there is one hornworm you should never touch, and it is actually doing your garden a significant favor. If you find one covered in what looks like tiny white grains of rice along its back, leave it exactly where it is. What you are looking at is something much more useful than a dead caterpillar.

I am wondering why there are so many sheep in the area? This is caused by f***l matter, human f***l matter not animal.
Please stop spreading false information about this and pay attention to facts.
The amount of people infected with this parasite is minimal in Ohio there have been 177 confirmed cases.

Counties that have publicly reported cases include:

* Lucas County (Toledo area) – part of the largest cluster near Michigan.
* Franklin County (Columbus area) – multiple cases reported.
* Crawford County – reported cases.
* Fairfield County – reported cases.
* Knox County – reported cases.
* Hamilton County (Cincinnati area) – 5 reported cases.
* Clermont County – 1 reported case.
* Warren County – 1 reported case.

As a farmer maybe we need to educate people on the proper handling of the fruits and vegetables you buy at any grocery store. It is handled many times by many people. Especially those picking their nose and whiping their ass out on fields. Now add in dark trucking, unclean water and you then have disasters.
Now go to the store buy some food and just eat it… WRONG it’s not clean it needs washed… not soaked but washed.
Maybe we as farmers should educate people about cleanliness instead of worrying about chemicals so much? This fruit and vegetables scare is not small local farmers it’s coming from factory farming as it alsways had in the past.
