When I’m not at the shop designing, I’m busy being a mom! I am so blessed to have a great team of ladies who can handle the day to day at the shop so that I don’t have to miss out on seeing my two littles grow up! Being a mom is the most important title that I hold and I will forever be thankful that I have this precious time with them. My goal in owning the flower shop has always been to not only provide beautiful flowers for every occasion, but to be a place that can help connect people in our community. We are excited about a project we are working on that will allow a space to get together and create beautiful things while meeting new people! Stay tuned for that update 😉 When will the updates come? You just never know 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Since I seem to have a lot of new followers, I thought I’d post a throw back video of where my flower journey began. In 2020 I decided to start a flower farm (with absolutely no knowledge of growing flowers) on my property in New Hampshire (hence the VERY white legs 🫣). I grew flowers for two years before moving here to Navarre. I got a job working at this flower shop under the previous owners. Fast forward a couple years and I decided it’s very hard to grow flowers here, but I wanted to still be in the floral world. So, 7 months postpartum (because that’s always a good time to make big life decisions! 😬) I decided to buy the flower shop 2 weeks before Valentines Day (also a very logical decision haha). Is there a lot more mixed into this story, absolutely, but this gives you an idea of who I am and where I came from. I have so many big ideas for the flower shop, but I’m also in the thick of motherhood so I’m sure things will take time to get implemented. Nonetheless I’m excited at how far we’ve already come and where we are headed!

First of all, thank you to everyone who has liked or commented on yesterdays sign post! I was genuinely shocked at how many people saw that post. Who knew posting photos of a sign would catch so much attention haha. I’ve got big plans for the front of the shop as well and I can’t wait to show y’all. Until then, I hope you enjoy this wreath I got to design today. 🤍💚 P.S. A much needed update to the poles of our sign happened today! It’s been 2.5 years since I took over the shop and slowly but surely I’m making it my own. Shout out to the owner of New Wave Electric (who happens to be my husband) for painting the poles for me today!
