We have a winner! 🥇

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our first-ever Red, White & Bloom Patriotic Display Contest! We loved seeing the creativity, pride, and beautiful displays our community put together to celebrate America's 250th anniversary.

Taking first place was a submission from Rita B. with the Wildwood Historic Center out of Nebraska City. With the title of The Quilt Garden, this beautiful display features 320 Supertunias positioned to replicate a quilt square. We highly encourage you to see it with your own eyes there in Nebraska City!

Second Place goes to Kris H. with their "Blooms of the Brave" display

Third place ended in a tie, with submissions from Tammy P. and Chris T.

Thank you as well to everyone who took the time to vote and support our contestants. Your enthusiasm made this contest a lot of fun!

Toto, are we still in Kansas?!

Rose of Sharon is one of our favorite summer-blooming shrubs, producing large, hibiscus-like flowers that bring a tropical feel to the garden when many other shrubs have finished blooming.

Not only do they provide weeks of color, but they're also loved by pollinators and thrive in our Midwest climate. And the best part is that you can enjoy them year after year. 🌺
